Merry "Cold"mas

DSC_0167 It is typical for things to get really cold this time of year in Minnesota.  I feel like it was just yesterday that it was zero degrees outside...oh wait, it was zero degrees outside yesterday.

I have still tried to ride my bike to work everyday.  If it is a really cold day, my fingers get so cold that for the rest of the day the tips of my fingers are sore. Probably not a good sign.  I have warm gloves, but they are no match for the fierce Minnesota winter.  I think I'll get some of those packets of hand warmers.  You know, the little things you open up and they stay warm for a couple hours, and then you throw them away. They should do the trick.

This is a picture from outside my house a couple days ago.  It was about 8:00am and as you can see, the sun has just come up.  The snow is beautiful...and it is not going to melt for another five months or more...YEAH!

I hope you are having a wonderful, and hopefully warmer holiday season.

Keep riding!

are you using lobsters? I've been using lobsters and they seem to do the trick for me... Bill said he was using lobsters, too. Maybe you can find some electric gloves that use a small battery to warm your hands...

Wow, that's dedication and certainly impressive! Stay safe out there.

Love the pictures. I'm laughing about the lobster comment from Rueben.
You guys are so awesome!
