A MOMENTOUS DAY

Mom1

As of today my mother is officially done with her 6 weeks of chemo and radiation.  It is an amazing accomplishment, one which many of us, including myself, cannot even imagine.

She is far from being done with her whole ordeal but she has made it over her first hurdle and that is a big step forward.  It takes courage, stamina and perseverance to go through this process and she has shown all of these qualities throughout her journey.

I am very proud of her and even prouder that she's my mom...and she's never had any work done.  Doesn't she have great skin at 70?
