"Molly" 1998-2008

Picture_007 I know this is very sad for people to read  about but please indulge me for a few sentences.

My dear sweet companion Molly passed away this weekend and I want everyone to know that she gave me unconditional love and protection for over 10 years; and the last five of those years we helped each other to fill a big hole in our life together.  I am trusting that my heart can once again adjust to another heartbreak, and the space left behind in my life.

I know it will take some time but I also know that somehow life seems to go on and there are new things to learn about tomorrow.  Please give me a few days to get my act together and I'll be back on track soon.

"Sweet Molly, I know you will find your way home and be able to run and play once again with your family. Thank you for being my sweet blog helper. I'm missing you so much already."    Love, Mom

Marie,

I am owned by a 13 year old golden retriever named Christy who is my best friend, protector, confidante and I love her dearly with my whole heart. Your Molly reminds me so much of her. Know my heart is aching with you in your loss.

Hi Marie,

I heard about Women Who Ride from Rebecca and somehow this entry on your blog was the first one that I clicked on. I had a golden named Molly (her official name was Cowan's Cro-Moly Dream) that we brought home as we were opening our first bicycle store.

Molly gave us so many wonderful memories and so much unconditional love. She spent her first three years in a bike shop and customers would stop in just to see her. I am so thankful that she was in our lives.

I can tell by your entry that you are a special person. Molly was lucky to have you in her life.

My condolences on the passing of your beloved dog. It's amazing how much we love our animals and how their passings affect us deeply.

Marie,

I am so sorry for your loss. As a dog parent myself, I know how difficult this is. My heart goes out to you.

Marie-
Loved reading your April 28th update. Sorry to hear about your furry friend. We have a 7 year old yellow lab that our family really loves. I can't even think of the day she will no longer be with us.

Jump on your bike and take a ride. Clear your head and once again, pick up the pieces. I with you peace as you get through these rough days at hand.

It's hard to know the words to say, but just know you have a lot of friends out here who care about you and mourn just a little with you.

Thank you for you good words. I do now realize how many friends I have that I haven't even met yet. It's given me a lot of comfort.
