"Body, Mind and Spirit" 2

Images[3] Today I would like to send some thoughts your way about "The Mind".  We all know just how powerful the mind can be as we have seen in demonstrated over and over.  When I was talking with my son in law recently, we were discussing the concept of feeling younger than our actual age.   The idea that I could actually have this conversation with a son in law, and we were relating on the same level , actually shows you how the years have flown by.

The point he was trying to make was being "Young Minded"  When you are 10, young minded can mean that you have imagination.  When you are 30 it can mean playing a silly game with small children.  When you are in your 50's and beyond, it can mean trying something new.  Now is your chance, for those of you that have always wanted to try something new but always had an excuse or something else was holding you back.  This is the perfect time to take up a new interest.  It will give you something to talk about at the holiday parties, and something to add to your wish list.  When I ride my bike I imagine that it looks like the picture above.  FABULOUS

Let me just take this time to relate to you how great bicycling fits into this plan.    There are bicycles that are designed to your specific body type and needs, (Go back into the Trek website and look into the Women Specific Design line of gear).  You can take a vacation ride, path rides and neighborhood rides.  It's great for your health and could be fantastic for your social life.  By the way, every doctor I ever speak to recommends the bicycle for the mature citizen.  There is no impact and the movement is good for all your aching or non aching joints.    Let you Mind run wild and never underestimate what you can accomplish.

Come Ride With Me.
