Change the World!

Dsc_0249_4One_world_logo_mediumYou might think that because this picture is in black and white that it was taken years and years ago, before they invented colored pictures and cars. But alas! It was taken yesterday. I went grocery shopping with my bike! It was so much fun. I have done it before while I was in college, but back then it involved a very heavy back pack and strategic balancing of grocery bags on my handlebars.
Thanks to my Bob Trailer and Trek Soho, it was much smoother. The grocery store is only 1.5 miles away. Why have I been driving my car this whole time?

If we are going to change the world, we are going to have to start with ourselves. Riding bikes and reducing my Carbon Footprint on the earth is something I feel very strongly about. What can you do to Recycle, Reduce, and Reuse?

Change the world...one bike ride at a time!

It doesn't even require a soho & bob trailer. Beater bike and backpack do the job, too.
I've sprung for the Xtracycle (happily, before they got so popular they are hard to find!) and now my car is in my brother's garage when he's not making his living driving it as a taxi.
