You could be the next me!
Do you think you have what it takes to be the next Woman Who Rides?

Just in case I don't post anything this week...you will know. Bill and I are leaving for California tomorrow. We are visiting my family for the holidays and we are so excited!
Minneapolis current temperature is -13 degrees, and Moreno Valley current temperature is 43 degrees. 43 degrees is warm! I know Marie recently posted about the cold weather in California, but come on...that is not cold.
You haven't lived at all- till you have lived through a Minnesota winter!
Minnesota's cold winters are kind of growing on me...almost like bragging rights. Still, we are very excited to be going to sunny California for a week.
Have a safe and happy holiday season!
Did you know that the first official day of Winter is not until the 21st of December?
It is typical for things to get really cold this time of year in Minnesota. I feel like it was just yesterday that it was zero degrees outside...oh wait, it was zero degrees outside yesterday.
I have still tried to ride my bike to work everyday. If it is a really cold day, my fingers get so cold that for the rest of the day the tips of my fingers are sore. Probably not a good sign. I have warm gloves, but they are no match for the fierce Minnesota winter. I think I'll get some of those packets of hand warmers. You know, the little things you open up and they stay warm for a couple hours, and then you throw them away. They should do the trick.
This is a picture from outside my house a couple days ago. It was about 8:00am and as you can see, the sun has just come up. The snow is beautiful...and it is not going to melt for another five months or more...YEAH!
I hope you are having a wonderful, and hopefully warmer holiday season.
Keep riding!
We went out to take some photos with some friends the other day. Thanks Chrissy and Randy, we had fun! It was really cold and our fingers were freezing, so it didn't last very long. I think we got a couple of good shots though. Here they are!
