Riding a Familiar Trail

Fall Riding on the Centennial Trail from Rebecca Jensen on Vimeo.

A video in appreciation of a local rails-to-trail that I now ride on a regular basis.

When I was a kid, we'd drive to this trail, unload the bikes, and ride ride ride alll the way to Snohomish, where we'd get ICE CREAM at that really cool antiquey-ice cream shop, then we'd ride ride ride back. BOY I thought that was cool.

Now I'm cruising it on my carbon fiber Trek. Which is also-- VERY COOL.

RJ - VERY Cool! I've had ice cream there!!! Your video made me want to go out right now - but it's almost 9 (pm) I'll just ride vicariously.

The Centennial Trail is our favorite trail of all to ride in the greater Seattle area! We just discovered it last spring, and used it to prepare me to ride in my first half century last August. I just started riding at age 51 - and I've lost 20 lbs. since July! When I reach my goal weight this next spring, I'll get my new Trek road bike - haven't decided which one yet - but it will be a WSD because I'm vertically challenged.

These women shared their stories and captured our hearts, convincing us that they should represent Trek. Of course they ride for the love of it, but more importantly, they ride for opportunities cycling offers. Read about these opportunities. Their stories will put a smile on your face and inspire you to experience life by bike. They are Trek Women.
